Willow Glen 5K Run/Walk for Education

The Willow Glen 5K Run/Walk for Education (https://wg5k.org/) is the largest annual community event in Willow Glen.  The course winds its way through the neighborhood, attracting more than 2,000 people each year.  On Saturday, May 9, at 9am, participants will run, walk, stroll, and ride the course, then meet at the Willow Glen Elementary School’s finish line for a post-race festival, including sponsor booths, pancake breakfast, kid zone, and promotional swag.  The Willow Glen Elementary PTA organizes this event, which support arts, science and PE programs at the school. In 2026, Stone Church will be a Silver Sponsor.
