Adult Ed: Wendell Berry’s Written Works

Sunday, June 7, join Walter Hudson for a session to engage the lifework of Wendell Berry, one of the grandest and least known major Christian writers of the 20-21st centuries. Grand in scope: Berry has written at least 25 books of poetry, 24 volumes of essays, and 15 novels and short story collections. Major: Awarded many academic and traditional prizes and honorary degrees; Least known: No Netflix or Hollywood productions (though Walter has tried!).

His writing is grounded in the notion that one’s work ought to be rooted in and responsive to one’s place. He asks: are we grounded?
