Ever wanted to run a sound board? We are looking for a reliable and skilled individuals to run our Behringer X32 digital mixing console during Sunday worship services and occasional special events. This role is crucial in creating a meaningful worship experience for our congregation.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the Behringer X32 sound system for worship services
- Coordinate with worship leaders, musicians, and speakers regarding audio needs
- Mix live sound for the congregation during services
- Adjust audio levels for vocal microphones, instruments, and playback sources
- Troubleshoot any audio issues that arise during services
- Arrive 45 minutes before services for setup and sound checks
- Assist with basic maintenance of sound equipment
Qualifications:
- Interest in digital mixing
- Basic understanding of sound reinforcement principles
- Good ear for audio balance and quality
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work well with others in a church setting
- Commitment to Sunday morning availability
Time Commitment:
- Sunday mornings (typically 8:45 AM – 11:00 PM)
- Occasional special services (Memorial Services, Christmas Eve, Holy Week, etc.)
Compensation:
A $50 stipend will be provided per service in appreciation of your time and expertise.
