Ever wanted to run a sound board? We are looking for a reliable and skilled individuals to run our Behringer X32 digital mixing console during Sunday worship services and occasional special events. This role is crucial in creating a meaningful worship experience for our congregation.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate the Behringer X32 sound system for worship services
  • Coordinate with worship leaders, musicians, and speakers regarding audio needs
  • Mix live sound for the congregation during services
  • Adjust audio levels for vocal microphones, instruments, and playback sources
  • Troubleshoot any audio issues that arise during services
  • Arrive 45 minutes before services for setup and sound checks
  • Assist with basic maintenance of sound equipment

Qualifications:

  • Interest in digital mixing
  • Basic understanding of sound reinforcement principles
  • Good ear for audio balance and quality
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work well with others in a church setting
  • Commitment to Sunday morning availability

Time Commitment:

  • Sunday mornings (typically 8:45 AM – 11:00 PM)
  • Occasional special services (Memorial Services, Christmas Eve, Holy Week, etc.)

Compensation:

A $50 stipend will be provided per service in appreciation of your time and expertise.
